Radiance Mentoring for Masterful Coaching 

This portion of the Radiance Level 2 Accredited Coach Education program is designed for experienced coaches who are considering applying for their MCC, or who simply want to level up their coaching.

MCC is not just high-level PCC, it’s a totally different way of being with your client.  The Mentoring for Masterful Coaching program helps you to step up into the MCC way of being, increasing your understanding of what that means.

In this program, you will take a deeper dive into the ICF competencies from the MCC perspective, led by an MCC Mentor and Instructor, and be supported to recognize and enhance your current strengths and style, while stretching to higher levels of ease and maturity in coaching.

This flexible program is 30 hours, and includes both training and mentoring. It  meets the ICF requirements for mentor coaching at the MCC level, and the 30 Educational Units awarded satisfy ICF’s training requirements for your next credential or renewal.  For those wishing to add coach mentoring to their coaching practice we recommend taking the Professional Coach Mentor Training program for a deeper dive into using the ICF Competencies to support other coaches in their development.


Mentoring for Masterful Coaching Program Structure

MMC is a highly interactive, personal program designed to:

  • Enhance your coaching skills for Mature Coaching
  • Help you with working toward your MCC credential
  • Instill greater self-awareness as a coach
  • Emphasize deeper understanding and demonstration of the ICF Core Competencies at the Master level
  • Provide mentoring to fulfill the ICF requirements for your MCC application

MCM is a distance-learning program, delivered through weekly online classes.  All classes are recorded, so if you are unable to attend a particular class, you can watch the recording and discuss with your trainer to keep current.


The MCM program lasts 3 months and includes:

  • Self-Assessment of MCC Coaching – Pre-work
  • Writeup of what MCC Coaching means to you – Pre-work
  • ICF Core Competencies deep dive during interactive online classes, including Group Mentoring:  15 hours 
  • One-on-One Mentoring – 3 hours
  • Peer Coaching Practice – 3+ hours
  • Independent study – 10 hours
  • 1 potential MCC Recording evaluated and debriefed
  • Certificate granted to be used for ICF Mentoring requirements
  • Total number of accredited education hours to be used towards your MCC Credential:  31

The cost of the program is $2,500 USD.

Program Specifics

The MCM program topics include:

  • Advanced Core Competencies
  • Exploring what MCC level coaching means
  • Coach’s Self-Awareness and Self-Management
  • Steps to prepare for your MCC

Group classes include extensive discussion of use and proficiency in each of the 8 ICF Competencies at the MCC level, as well as assessing MCC recordings, enabling a deeper understanding of what MCC level means to ICF.

One-on-One Mentoring includes individual meetings with a Certified Coach Mentor to discuss evaluation of an MCC recording and individual needs for enhanced mastery.

Peer coaching practice offers greater opportunity for sharing the journey to MCC and practice for the MCC recording.
